“Liv Jung-König was born in 1985 and has been painting for most of her life. Her paintings are naturalistic in nature, the choice of her compositions subject to her whims and desires: sun-spotted play scenes, back views capturing a very familiar moment or abstract landscapes, folded in contemplative repetition. Since 2021, she has considered her work to be sovereign, left her job in the book trade and founded her showroom in Diez with goldsmith Angela Schardt. She gained national visibility via Instagram. Liv Jung-König lives and works in Diez an der Lahn.”
